And the simple to deploy, build and use code is........

____Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, _

____ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click

________Dim SMS As New SmsMessage(Me.TextBox1.Text, Me.TextBox2.Text)

________SMS.Send()

____End Sub

End Class

WM6 Code - Send your SMS...yourself (1 of 2)

This is the simple screen shot of an application that can send an SMS from your WM6 phone.

The best thing is that ... VB.NET code for same is more simple to understand, write, run, execute & have fun.

The WinCE Code

No its not a sequel to Da Vinci Code. What is planned is to put up code snippets (and screen shots) that can be used to make applications for the Windows Mobile 6 for your pocket PC...rather Smart Phone....The "Hello World" goes up as The WinCE Code - The Counter. You need anything specific...comment in !!
NB : Whatever differences exist in Windows Mobile 6 & Windows CE...do exist...but the name "The WinCE Code" has been chosen to catch attractiveness.

Windows Mobile 6.1

This is the p3452 touch phone from HTC. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.1. The reason it gets mentioned here is that it is a device which can run applications made in VB.NET.
I tried a simple text box & botton which ran very smoothly on it.
It feels good to make your own applicatin and make it run on your mobile in the way you want.
